Crystal Young, President
Crystal is very active as a Community Leader and volunteers on several boards and projects that promote equality, justice and economic empowerment for African Americans and represent other minority and under-priviledged classes of people. In addition, she began a Consulting business to provide technical assistance and resources to assist small businesses and non-profits to become more profitable. She also provides grant research, has been a fund developer, Certified Life Skills Facilitator and Mentor. She is the president of the local affiliate of the Tri-State Minority Chamber of Commerce and a Certified Score Counselor. She maintains memberships with the National Society of Human Resource Professionals and she has served as the Vice-President of the Quincy Branch NAACP chapter and received Community Leader of the Year Award in 2010.
Pearl Harris, Vice President
Co-owner and partner of P & P Cleaning Services. Pearl along with her husband Phil started their business in September of 2008, the business offers office cleaning, floor care treatment, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, carpet extraction and construction cleanup for commercial businesses and residents. Mission statement: P and P Cleaning Service seeks to ensure that businesses have a spotless office environment to support the work they do and forget their worries about office cleaning. The company values and promotes “thorough cleaning”. Their priority is to listen to the needs of their clients and respond to the demands of the environment. Honesty and Integrity are also values of P & P Cleaning Service. P and P Cleaning Service is in the business of Professional floor care and janitorial services.
Stefan Crider, Vice President
Owner of S. Crider Construction Company, is doing his part to ensure the future of the construction industry in the tri-states area. Certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), Crider and his staff volunteer to teach 12-week pre-apprentice training courses for those interested in entering the trade fields. After completing the Carpenter Apprenticeship and working for several local construction companies, Crider struck out on his own in 1985 to found Crider Construction. The company split in 2004 and S. Crider Construction Company emerged. They specialize in concrete placement and concrete reinforcement. S. Crider is primarily a subcontractor on road construction projects, with hopes of soon becoming a general contractor. They have worked on numerous projects in the area include the West Quincy Overpass, the I72 Interstate Project; the Maine Street; Harrison Street and Payson Road Extensions to name a few.
Yolanda Wilson, Treasurer
Owner and Operator of Keep It Simple Bookkeeping Service since March, 2011. She’s been doing bookkeeping for the past 12 years. She currently works at the Cathedral of Worship Church in the Accounting Office. Her Bookkeeping services specializes in “keeping it simple”. Her motto is, “you handle your business, & I’ll handle your books”. She offers Payroll services in addition to Payroll taxes; A/P & A/R, (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable), bank and credit card monthly reconciliation, financial reports, etc. Keep It Simple Bookkeeping can do one or all of the services it has to offer. Keep It Simple was established after identifying a need to work with small business owners in their accounting and reporting work.
